A rewards setup that brings regulars back

Your regulars already know you. Points give them a reason to book again. When they come back, they spend again.

A client arriving, happy to be back

Keeping the clients you already have is easier than finding new ones. Rewards are one quiet way to do that. A client earns points when they pay. Next time, those points are a reason to come back to you.

A small card marked ten dollars

It works in a similar way to Woolworths Rewards. You earn points as you go. After a while you might have $10 to spend.

Set it once

In Client Diary, open My Account, then Add-Ons, then Loyalty Program Settings.

A hand on a mouse, setting the program once

Make one program. You choose how much a client spends, and how many points they earn. A simple start is one point for every dollar spent on services. You also set what a point is worth when they use it. Two or three cents a point is a gentle start. Easy to say at the desk.

You can let points build even when a service is discounted, or not. You can let them expire after a set time, or leave them. Start simple. You can change it later.

A plain example

A client having her hair cut

Say a colour is $150. One point per dollar is 150 points. At 3 cents a point, that visit has put $4.50 toward a later bill. That is 3%. At 2 cents a point, it is $3.

They do not get that off today. They get a reason to book the next one.

When they come in for a cut at $80, you can put some of those points on the bill. You choose how many to use. They pay the rest the usual way.

Put it on the right clients

You can give the program to every client, including people you add later. Or keep it for a smaller group. A stronger program for the people who already come often is a fair way to do that.

A small group of clients

On the client, open Add/Edit. The Loyalty Program field is there.

When they come back

The points are kept on the client’s records. When they book again to use them, that visit is more income, and a chance to offer the next service while they are in the chair.

At the end of the sale, choose Loyalty Points, and take the amount off the bill. Same checkout you already use.

Keep the promise small

A full day of appointments

Tell your clients it is similar to Woolworths Rewards. They will understand that, as it’s an everyday routine for a lot of people.

The client rewards, and all their histories live in Client Diary, so it keeps track of it all automatically.

Why not give it a go? Switch it on, inform your clients so they know, and keep them coming back.
